Rating by category:
It was very open airy, and comfortable. I would stay here again and plan to not in the to distant future.
The convenient position
I was over charged - I had to go and get a refund. The woman who checked me in was also quite rude about to me when I pointed out that you couldn't select double or twin on the online booking system.
The hotel itself is nice and good but we were there during the weekend so very noisy as there is a club right next to the hotel. Can still hear people making a lot of noise very late at night.
Position excellent for travelling to Wembley events. Close to motorway and train station
Rooms were very hot. Air conditioning not effective.
the breakfast was excellent, all nicely cooked, good flavour and piping hot
I didnt think the tv was very good.poor picture and not much programme choice
Breakfast & Location
Generally the hotel was fine. However the shower head was broken and could not be used. The safe in my room malfunctioned and could not be opened for 3 hours. No one in the hotel could fiy it this meant they had to call in an external service to resolve the problem
The hotel is ideally situated for my family to visit the area. I booked 2 rooms for my son and his young family and us "mature customers" The staff are always pleasant and helpful and the rooms clean and tidy, just what I would expect from The Holiday Inn, a very high standard.
It would be nice to have some complimentary bottles of water, say 2 small units. Not all people drink tea or coffee and I don't fancy the water from the taps.
1. Queues for breakfast when there were plenty of tables laid up for dinner. 2. Noise from corridors and squeaky housekeeping doors 3. Poor quality ingredients at breakfast (particularly fruit juices)
it was a very good experience, enjoyed the stay in a very friendly atmosphere.
The food was very good and the room was very comfortable though rather over heated.
price meant it was brilliant value for 4* accommodation good but no frills breakfast
noisy when opening window for fresh air but then it is on the A1 and would expect it.
Convenient to motorway, yet easy access to City. Easy check in clean and tidy. The breakfast was superb. One of the best I have had in London. On a par with any of the 4 major 4 star hotels, if not better than all of them. Will definitely take another visit
Checking out was a bit slow but nothing major to complain about. Perhaps there could be room for improvement in the system. No fault on the staff, they did their best
the hotel reception and general ambience is excellent.spaciouse and comfortable.also the dining and bar area
the service at breakfast was poor my wife and i were shown to a table with only one chair,i had to find another. dispite the fact that the ara was empty of other guests we were put almost on top of the sevice table.
The hotel is well located for getting into London. The rooms are good and the bed particulalry comfortable.
This hotel used to be the Elstree MoatHouse - where we had stayed previously. Since being taken over it feels tired, they seemed to be short staffed and breakfast was dreadful- lack of food and lack of service.
I have stopped in various hotels over the last few years and i would rate the holiday inn as one of the Best. We arrived at the hotel early as we had been traveling from warrington since 6.30am. As soon as we arrived the staff tried to get us a room which had already been cleaned which they managed to do after a few phone calls. This meant after three and a half hours traveling we could get changed and left the hotel feeling refreshed, The Hotel room was very clean and the decor was to a very high standard. One of the comfiest beds i have slept in. The hotel itself was spotless, and again decorated to a very high standard. Checking out was smooth as checking in, no ques and dealt with by cheerful friendly staff.
